Don’t wait to start your musical journey!

Hello and welcome

I tailor my lessons to the student and their needs.

About me

Michelle is a voice and piano teacher with over 19 years of experience in the private sector. She has an intense passion for the musical journey that each individual takes on and caters her lessons to fit each student. Let’s face it, we’re not all the same, so why should our journey be the same.

Along with her passion, her credentials include a BA in Voice from UW-Whitewater, WI. And for further development, she has taken part in Muiskgarten certifications (intro music classes), recording technology classes at MMI (Madison Media Institute), Songwriting workshops at Berkley School of Music in Boston, MA, and is a member of the MTNA (Music Teachers National Association). She also plays and sings in a local band called “The Eric Look band”. They perform gigs at Summerfest and other local events.

She encourages her students to take part in the local chapter auditions for the WMTA (Wisconsin Music Teachers Association) every year. By doing this, she prepares them for future performances and gives them confidence in their music ability. She also holds 2 recitals in-person recitals and 2-3 virtual Open Mics for her
students yearly which gives the students ample time to show off their new skills to family and friends!

Free Consultation

Before any student start, I meet them in-person or virtually for a free consultation. This is a great way to meet and talk about the student’s goal for their lessons.

There are 2 recitals a year. This gives students a goal to work towards and allows them to show off what they have been learning.

WMTA competitions

For those that are wishing to further their abilities, there are chances to play and compete in WMTA auditions.

Themed Music Challenges

Every 6-8 weeks there is a new music challenge to keep students engaged and working towards their goal.
